This rare and very exciting opportunity is for an experienced events professional to join the WPT team. In this dynamic, fast paced, sociable role, responsibility involves creating and implementing a live events strategy in selected regions to ensure that players have the best experience possible. Further requirements include coordinating marketing strategies, scheduling and planning events, overseeing the smooth running of the tournaments (on location) and coordinating a number of key stakeholders and teams both within WPT and the wider bwin.party business to ensure the delivery of successful online promotions, social media and player outreach campaigns.
Experience in the poker world is a must- whether this be online, offline, professionally or personally plus a desire to love gaming and all that this fast paced, vibrant industry has to offer! Further requirements are: relevant live event management experience, ideally within iGaming, but if not, at least within a related sector such as sports or entertainment, bright, sociable, able to travel frequently, experience of managing budgets and thinking outside the box to deliver the best possible service to players and the business whilst always keeping cost and strict timelines in mind.
It is essential to be a native level French and English speaker for the Regional Event Manager France, Belgium, Spain and Germanics and native level Russian and English speaker for the role of Regional Event Manager CIS and Balkans.
