Los Angeles, CA (October 9, 2014) — The World Poker Tour® returns to Playground Poker Club for a third consecutive season on November 20 for partypoker WPT® Montreal. The televised, CAD $ 3,850 buy-in WPT Main Event features three starting flights, and the final table on November 26 will be live streamed on www.WorldPokerTour.com. Players can qualify on partypoker in the weekly $ 500 buy-in satellites on Sundays at 20:05ET. Each package is worth $ 5,000, and includes your tournament entry and $ 1,400 in spending money. There are also weekly two-seat guarantee qualifiers at Playground Poker Club every Sunday and Thursday at 8 p.m., and a massive 10-seat qualifier on November 19 at 7:30 p.m.

In the past two seasons, partypoker WPT Montreal attracted a combined 2,035 entries and generated a combined prize pool of $ 6.3 million. Local and Playground Players Club member Jonathan Roy championed the inaugural event in Season XI, earning more than $ 777,000, and Derrick Rosenbarger defeated Season XIII Player of the Year Mukul Pahuja heads up last November to win more than $ 517,000.

partypoker WPT Montreal headlines the Playground Poker Fall Classic, a 13-event poker festival from November 9-27. Among the side events are a $ 150 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with a $ 100,000 guarantee, a $ 250 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament with a $ 200,000 guarantee, a $ 1,100 buy-in “WPT Warm-Up” tournament, and a $ 10,400 buy-in High Roller.
