Day 4 of the Borgata Poker Open began with 31 players remaining from the starting field of 1,226 entries. After a grueling eight levels, six players remain with hopes of capturing a coveted World Poker Tout title and getting their name inscribed on the WPT Champions Cup. Leading the way is Kane Kalas with 14,025,000. He began Day 4 sixth in chips and steadily built his stack before seizing a sizable chip lead on the final hand.
Darren Elias (pictured above) is second in chips with 8,000,000. He is making his third televised WPT final table and his second at Borgata. In Season X, Elias placed fifth in the Borgata Poker Open for $ 230,610 and followed that with a third-place finish later in the season at WPT Jacksonville for $ 147,850.
