Los Angeles, CA (December 15, 2014) — World Poker Tour® today announced an alliance with Ourgame International Holdings Limited, under which it has agreed to license products and services on an exclusive basis in more than a dozen countries across Asia.
Ourgame will have the right to use the WPT® logo and trademark exclusively in Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Korea, Nepal, Macau, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam. They will also have non-exclusive rights in Japan.
The alliance will also bring new WPT National and WPT Main Tour events with select live streamed final tables to the region starting in 2015, along with WPT-branded free play and social games and distribution of televised World Poker Tour® programs. The companies will also collaborate in WPT-branded merchandise and television production in Asia.

Royal Flushes are falling from the sky during Season XIII of the World Poker Tour.
During the first two events at WPT Legends of Poker and the partypoker WPT Merit Classic North Cyprus, three different players, including WPT Champions Club member Chris Moorman, made Royal Flushes. This prompted the World Poker Tour to partner with Royal Caribbean International® to create the Royal Caribbean International® Royal Flush Bonus*.
Not long after, Moorman made another Royal Flush at partypoker WPT UK, winning a complimentary cruise for two onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas® in December of 2015.
The statistical anomalies continued today at the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Not one, not two, but three players made Royal Flushes using both of their hole cards. He may not have needed Day One of play, but Daniel Negreanu did need five entries before the re-entry period concluded on Day 2 at the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic.
Given that it is the Five Diamond, perhap the five buy-ins is fitting. After all, the Season III Five Diamond Champion is one of a just a couple of players to finish the day with more than 200,000 chips. While his 224,600 is certainly good for a top ten stack, Negreanu will not begin Day 3 of the action as the chip leader.
That honor appears to belong to Iulian Iacob (pictured), who bagged up 288,700. Hot on his heels is Larry Greenberg with 282,000, and Farshad Fardad, who spent a productive day seated in Bobby’s Room before ending the day with 261,900.
Reigning champion in this event, Dan Smith, survived as well, but he is much worse for the wear compared to Negreanu, bagging up just over 18,000 chips. Past winners Antonio Esfandiari and Joe Hachem also managed to survive the day.
